Muskoka artist Nathan Sowrey has come up with a fantastic way to show love to our frontline healthcare workers as well as the community as a whole.
As well, Muskoka Unlimited is donating a free download of the eBook Random Words, Random Stories Volume I for a second prize to be drawn in the raffle.
How do you enter? Well, that’s easy. If you’re a nurse, paramedic or PSW, send us a message/post on our comment section on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter or email firstname.lastname@example.org with the #NathanSowrey’sWovenWoodsRaffle.
Friends of healthcare workers can nominate on their behalf! Just do the same thing and tell us the name of the person you’re entering!
EVERYONE else can enter by sending us or posting to our social media pages a photo of a nice, strong wooden stick or staff they find on their property, in the woods, on a trail or even on the side of a road.
Our frontline healthcare staff can earn bonus entries by also sending/posting a photo of a large wooden stick/staff they have found.
“I want to show our appreciation for the frontline healthcare workers who are at the hospitals and in the community risking their health for our well being,” says Nathan. “I also thought it would be great to encourage getting out for fresh air – making sure to maintain social distancing – and learn to appreciate nature a little more.”
The Raffle is open from Sunday, April 5th to Saturday, April 18th at 11:59 p.m. with the draw taking place on Sunday, April 19th at 5 p.m.
