Last Meal

Last Meal

A Poem by D’Anthony Nance
Silver tongues
Painting pictures of tranquility
Basking beneath stolen glory
Ripening the hearts of many
To accept lies and deceit
Governmental struggles
Political sorrows
Designed to make lesser men swallow
Pride, hoping to gain a seat
At the forbidden table
