Desiree is a registered social worker with more than 13 years of mental health and addiction experience. She started working as the Mental Health Navigator for both South Muskoka Memorial Hospital and Huntsville District Memorial Hospital in November. Since starting, she has had over 200 patient interactions.
MAHC Emergency Departments are available for people experiencing mental health crisis and coordinates transfer of patients to facilities that provide inpatient mental health care.
