Muskoka League results and upcoming schedule plus my NBA Fantasy Pool results

Week 3 of the Muskoka Basketball League is in the bag, with the Huntsville Hurricanes overcoming a strong challenge from the Medical Centre Thunder 94-87 at Huntsville High School, and Fike Masonry unable to keep up with Family Place Restaurant and Pizza in a 57-39 win for Family Place.

Heading south on Highway 11, the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves took down Clear Lake Brewing Company 55-45 at Gravenhurst High School, and the Boone Plumbing Ballers held off the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial 86-80.

Up next on Monday, November 6, Gravenhurst High School will host the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial against Fike Masonry at 8:05 p.m. followed by the Huntsville Hurricanes facing the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves at 9:10 p.m.

At Huntsville High School, the Boone Plumbing Ballers take on Family Place Restaurant and Pizza at 8:05 p.m. with Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder tipping off against Clear Lake Brewing Co. at 9:10 p.m.

NBA FANTASY POOL UPDATE

Italian Mamba (my team) took down Gandolfseroticstaff’s Team 5-4 in our Fantasy Pool in Week 1 led by Canadian all-stars Shae-Gilgeous Alexander and Jamal Murray. Five blocks each from rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama and Aaron Gordon didn’t hurt either. Before getting hurt, Toronto Raptor OG Anunoby was putting up some good stats across the board too.

This week the Mamba takes on Crunch! whose team features Dajounte Murray, Karl-Anthony Towns, Kyle Kuzma and Kristaps Porzingis.
