Ballers Cruising Along

Muskoka Basketball League results, standings and upcoming schedule

With the holiday break on the horizon, the Muskoka Basketball League played out their final games until January on Monday, December 19 in Week 9 play.

In typical fashion, the Boone Plumbing Ballers took down Fike Masonry 75-67 at Gravenhurst High School to maintain a solid lead at the top of the table, while the late game at the same location saw the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves silence the Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder 74-60.

The Thunder will head into the holidays looking for answers as the only winless team in the league.

Up the Highway 11 corridor at Huntsville High School, the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial beat the Huntsville Hurricanes 71-63 and Clear Lake Brewing Company trampled Family Place Restaurant and Pizza 71-58.

The league will now take a couple weeks off to enjoy time with their family and friends before returning for their Week 10 slate on January 8, 2024.

On that date in Gravenhurst, the T-Wolves take on Raptors 705 at 8:05 p.m. followed by Clear Lake versus the Ballers at 9:10 p.m.

In Huntsville, the Thunder will try for their first win of the season against the Hurricanes in the early game, with Family Place and Fike Masonry tipping off at 9:10 p.m.

Standings as of Dec. 19, 2023
