Finalists Are Set – Who will be the winner?

Huntsville’s Got Talent now has their line-up for the fundraising show on February 24

The ten finalists for the upcoming Huntsville’s Got Talent show are set with nine chosen by the judges and one wildcard (John Leadston) who was voted in by the public (317 people voted).

These talented individuals will be competing live on stage on Saturday, February 24 in front panel of judges and an audience at the Algonquin Theatre. Tickets are on sale now – Huntsville’s Got Talent. Funds raised through ticket sales support Community Living Huntsville.

The top three contestants as chosen by a panel of judges win prizes ($1,000, $250, $100). The judges are Neil Barlow, Sue Kirwin-Campbell, Geordie Sabbagh, and Andrew Wahl.

Past winners include guitarist and singer-songwriter Todd Blair, pianist Rob Attfield, contortionist/acrodancer Andrea Hill, and opera singer Amy Wallace.

This year’s ten contestants are as follows (name/talent):

  • Nils Buzora – Playing the soprano saxophone
  • Leah Church – Singer songwriter
  • Isla-Maria Corbeil – Singer songwriter
  • Meredith Edgecombe – Singer
  • Ray Frankum – Singer acoustic guitar
  • Adam Jenner – Pianist
  • Sadie Laurence – Singer
  • John Leadston – Singer songwriter and guitar hack
  • Sonya Robertson – Singer songwriter acoustic guitar
  • Christine Robitaille  Singer songwriter

“We offer our sincere thanks to everyone who put themselves out there and applied for this year’s competition,” wrote HGT organizer Jennifer Jerrett on a Facebook post. “Our community sure does have talent – and we applaud you.”

Huntsville’s Got Talent is a nonprofit competition created by Dr. Drew and Janet Markham.
