Thunder finally get a win!

Meanwhile, Family Place snags first ahead of playoffs

The Bracebridge Medical Centre Thunder finally won a game, though they waited until the last game of the regular season to do it.

Their very forgettable Muskoka Basketball League year finished on a high note as they avoided a 0-14 season, taking a 56-51 win over the Raptors 705 Unity Group Financial at Gravenhurst High School.

The other game in Gravenhurst saw Clear Lake Brewing Company beat Fike Masonry 56-44.

Meanwhile in Huntsville, it was a weird affair that saw both Family Place Restaurant and Pizza and the Huntsville Hurricanes win via forfeit as the Boone Plumbing Ballers and the Rosseau Lake College Timberwolves were unable to field a full roster at the tip off of their games.

The worst part for the Ballers is they ended up dropping to second in the standings due to a forfeit not the result of a game played.

FINAL REGULAR SEASON STANDINGS

Next up for the league is a bye week due to the Family Day holiday and then the playoffs beginning on Monday, February 26.

Playoffs – Quarter-finals
