Dr. Sue Carstairs shares important facts with Chris about our shelled friends
Dr. Sue Carstairs is the Executive and Medical Director at the Ontario Turtle Conservation Centre (OTCC), a registered charity dedicated to the protection and conservation of Ontario’s native turtles and the habitat in which they live.
A combination of a small but mighty staff and extremely passionate volunteers allows the OTCC to work towards their goals by operating a turtle hospital that treats, rehabilitates, and releases injured turtles; by performing extensive research in the field to further conservation initiatives, and by running a comprehensive education and outreach program.
Dr. Sue joined host Chris on The Muskoka Unlimited Podcast to share turtle facts, information on how humans can help, and a personal story or two about our shelled friends.
